• Group arrival in New Orleans: Your group may drop luggage at the house in advance of check-in. We require a brief tour of the house and grounds to ensure a lovely stay for our guests. Please arrange this with us prior to arrival. We thank you in advance for your cooperation on this!

• Most flights do not have convenient arrival or departure times for check-in or check-out. We don’t want this to discourage you! We will hold your luggage in our office if we cannot accommodate early check-in or late check-out.

• We are a fully loaded rental ...meaning we pretty much provide everything you would need while staying away from home. From all the condiments needed for cooking to all linens, dishwasher soap, laundry soap, paper towels, toilet paper, bath toiletries, etc. .....you get the idea! We also provide Wind River Spa (non-sulphate) shower gel, shampoo, & conditioner. So bring your selves and your wardrobe. That's about it! A little “lagniappe”(extra gift): Fresh coffee w/fixings & spring water.

• We do want you to enjoy and have a memorable experience …so if you would like to invite non-registered guests, please inform us in advance. Please do not invite people to the house that you do not know for the safety and security of all.

• Please - No bachelor parties.

• Pool and pool area shuts down at 11 pm. There is a balcony and patio seating areas for quiet conversation and smoking after hours.

• The pool is heated by request only in the winter months and free of charge in Fall and Spring. We find that most guests do not swim in the cold weather, which only makes it logical to offer winter heating as an extra amenity so that the cost does not extend into the daily rate for our non-swimmers. And…. our footprint does not become larger on this planet!

• For your safety and security: Front & back doors must remain locked and front gates as well as security doors(antique wooden
door gates) must be closed at all times.

Deposit, Cancellations & Surcharge

Deposit -$700

Deposit amount held on a credit card 2 days before stay and returned after check out & inspection of property.

Cancellation Policy-Travelers who cancel at least 60 days before check-in will get back 100% of the amount they've paid. If they cancel between 30 and 60 days before check-in, they'll get back 50%. Otherwise, they forfeit a refund.

Surcharge List

  • Heated pool during cold winter months(when temp is below 65 degrees at any given time)-$50 per day
  • We heat the pool free of charge in Fall & Spring.
  • Exclusive use of pool & pool area from the hours of 11am-11pm- $75 per day
  • Unexpected additional guests(by request only)- $50 per guest-per night (max 10)
  • Housekeeping- $225
